Same here. We are getting ……………….Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/sandee/public_html/gurutrainingacademy.com/wp-content/plugins/pretty-link/classes/models/models.inc.php on line 67

and are unable to create new links. Although as far as i can tell the existing links are still working.

I was able to fix it by disabling W3 Total Cache prior to updating Pretty Link. After that I activated W3 Total Cache once more and everything was fine.

Hello, I've just upgraded pretty link lite to 1.5.0 but on my wordpress I have : Database Upgrade is required for Pretty Link to work properly Automatically Upgrade your Database If I click on the link, nothing happen, I can't upgrade database. Hi Blair, Today I've updated the Pretty Link Lite from 1.4.56 to 1.5.0 version. After update, it is showing in red the following message: "Database Upgrade is required for Pretty Link to work properly Automatically Upgrade your Database" What does it mean this Database upgrade? The Lite version should not “cloak” links anymore. Make sure your not confusing Cloak with 307/301 redirects. And yes your affiliate sales should not have changed.

Vivek, it sounds like you need to remove all of the pretty link rows from the wp_options table in the database. After that re-activate pretty link and it should re-create the tables for you.

One very strange problem i am facing... I lost all my links due to bad backup(pretty link was not backup-ed) but now i am not even able to add the links. When i tried to add a link it shows successful message but actually i don't see any links in the list... any idea?? i have tried to disable and delete the entire plugin and then added back... I m using pretty link lite version...

Maybe the best solution now would be to offer Lite, Standard, and Pro versions, with only the Lite distributed via the WP plug-in repository and Standard be a free, GPL version which does not have cloaking stripped, and your usual Pro offering.

Hi!

This seems just like what i´ve been searching for, if only i could get it to work..

I tried adding a pretty link to my blog. Tried different types of links, affiliate links as well as regualr links to other large websites just to see if it worked.

I must be doing something wrong.

I am folowing the instructions, pasting the link i want to mask in the first box, adding the prettylink ( making it http://www.mydomain.com/thelinknameiwant ..)
I create the link and it says it is succesfull. But when i copy the link, and add it to my blog post and then preview the site or after i posted it tries to click on the link – it´s no link, just plain text saying http://www.mydomain.com/thelinknameiwant , but not clickable ..

What am i missing?

Hi Blair, I agree. Formidable Pro is a great plugin. I've actually just released an add-on to the plugin called Formidable Plus. What it does is add a TABLE field type, allowing people to capture tabular data (like financials vs. timeline or details vs. product or whatever). I think this is a unique feature across all of the WordPress forms plugins. I don't know of any other form builder that allows for this type of field. Elizabeth,
I have helped several people get Mingle and WLM working on their sites. Its really not to difficult at all. If you havent gotten it working yet but want it to, just take WLM off your site (yes you have to remove it completely), install Mingle and completely set it up.
Make sure that your permalinks are set to %postname%
Setting up Mingle first allows it to manage the users profile pages, which is usually the biggest problem most see when using these two plugins together.
Once Mingle is completely set up, reinstall WLM. All of your previous settings will still be there.
Now they should work perfectly together. I have done this on several sites with great results.

I forgot to add, it looks like it’s only happens when hits are in the more than 1 digit. It only takes in consideration for sorting the first digit of the number. Like :

10-19 -> 1
20-29 -> 2
etc

There’s a bug in Pretty Links lite when you sort by hits (using simple tracking, didn’t try other option).
